The Junior Car Club brought together over 100 vehicles to compete, <br />with events ranging from midget class (500cc capacity engines) to 'Grand Prix' class.<br />Reg Parnell took the chequered flag, and the first ever Goodwood Trophy,<br />beginning a love affair with the track that would eventually lead to him being <br />dubbed the "Emperor of Goodwood".
